Hot Stamping
Hot-stamping is a printing and decorating technique in which special foil is transferred onto the surface of a material using heat and pressure. This process involves embossing the foil onto the surface with a die that is heated to the appropriate temperature.
This method is often used to apply metallic effects, such as gold or silver lettering, and to decorate packaging, e.g., a hot-stamping strip on the collar of a pump.
